Parisota Hot Club is a jazz trio performing a style of music commonly known as Hot Club or Gypsy Jazz.
This type of music originated in mid 1930’s Paris, France with the sounds of “The Quintet of the Hot Club of France” featuring guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grappelli.

The group also performs with additional members, seven pieces being the largest to date. (two guitars, two violins, clarinet, accordion and bass)
Originally Formed in 2001 the group began performing as Parisota Hot Club on February 7, 2002.
At this time it was the first Hot Club devoted to the music of Django Reinhardt to appear on the Minneapolis/St. Paul music scene.
Television appearances on WCCO 4, MTN 6, TPT 2 and KARE 11
Radio appearances on KBEM, KFAI and MPR “Morning Show” and “The Jazz Image”. CD releases: “Swing in Djune” in November 2002 and “Vous et Moi” in December 2006
Also appeared with Connie Evingson on her 2004 CD release “Gypsy in my Soul”
